40 Lancasters from 408, 426, and 432 Squadrons were ordered on an attack at Berlin. The crews were over the target at between 20,000 and 22,000 feet, releasing 148,000 lbs of high explosives and 107,000 lbs of incendiaries. According to reports, bombing was accurate with more fresh damage being caused.
